चंद्रशेखर जी सदैव देश को जोड़ने की बात करते थे। चंद्रशेखर जैसा व्यक्ति शायद हजारों वर्ष में एक बार इस पृथ्वी पर आते हैं।
आज मुझे चाचा जी (परम श्रधेय चंद्रशेखर जी) बहुत याद आ रहे हैं।मेरे आदर्श थे वे।उनका पहला भाषण मैं रांची में सुना था।आपात काल तुरंत ही समाप्त हुआ था और श्रीमती इंदिरा गांधी ने चुनाव की घोषणा कर दी थी।चुनाव प्रचार अपने चरम पर था।चंद्रशेखर जी ने क्या भाषण दिया था, कितनी गरिमा थी उनके शब्दों में।उन्होंने कभी भी श्रीमती इंदिरा गांधी के विरुद्ध कुछ भी नहीं कहा ,केवल यह कहा कि जनता पार्टी आम लोगों के लिए क्या करेगी।
मैं एम एस सी का विद्यार्थी था।आज मोदी जी को जितना सुनता हूँ उतनी ही घृणा और बढ़ती है।वाजपेयी जी को भी सुना ,कितना गौरव प्राप्त होता था और आज इन्हें सुनता हूँ तो लगता है कि प्रधानमंत्री देश का स्टेट्समैन होता है और नरेंद्र मोदी जी कितने नीचे गिर गए हैं।
आज प्रधानमंत्री का पद नीचे गिरा है।ये सदन में या सदन के बाहर इतना झूठ क्यों बोलते हैं? चंद्रशेखर जी कभी भी बलिया के अपने चुनाव में वोट नहीं मांगते थे।मैं अक्सर उनके साथ रहता था और उन्होंने कभी भी यह नहीं कहा कि आप मुझे वोट दीजिये।वो बलिया के किसी सभा में ऐसे बात करते थे जैसे मानो किसी परिवार का मुखिया बात करता हो।एक तो बलिया के समस्त लोगों को वे नाम से जानते थे।चाचा जी ने कभी हिन्दू-मुसलमान की बात नहीं की, कभी घृणा के शब्द नहीं बोले।उनके शब्द कितने गरिमामय होता था उसका अंदाजा आज के लोगों को नहीं हो सकता है जिन्होंने उनको सुना नहीं है।
चंद्रशेखर जी सदैव देश को जोड़ने की बात करते थे। चंद्रशेखर जैसा व्यक्ति शायद हजारों वर्ष में एक बार इस पृथ्वी पर आते हैं। मेरे लिए मेरे चाचा जी आज भी जिंदा हैं उनकी मृत्यु हो ही नहीं सकती है और आज इस देश को उनके आदर्शों की ज्यादा आवश्यकता है।मैं उन्हें सादर प्रणाम करता हूँ।
